236. Day 13: Praying for Our Children to Obey from the Heart

Welcome back to the kitchen table. As parents, our deepest desire is often to see our children grow into responsible, loving, and obedient individuals. We pray that God would help our children walk in his ways, calling them to obedience not out of duty, but out of a love for Jesus.   When we call our children to obedience, we are inviting them to walk in the ways of God. This isn't just about following rules, it's about nurturing a heart that loves and honors Jesus. True obedience stems from this love. As Romans 6:16-18 reminds us, our lives are transformed by our relationship with Christ. We pray for the Holy Spirit to work within our children, to soften and transform their rebellious hearts into ones that seek obedience out of love for Jesus.
