24.04 Getting to Know God's Great Warriors - Emmitt and Belen McKenzie (Part 3)

There's an old country music song whose lyrics include the saying, We both live in a two story house...her story and my story!  And while somewhat comical a line, there's a whole lot of truth to that sentiment in that between a couple, there definitely are two different perspectives, two different ways of conveying the same story.  Such is the case today in episode three of this series featuring Emmitt and Belen McKenzie.  Belen takes front and center as she begins to convey the courtship of this couple from her side of the story.  Throughout, you begin to see just how improbable this merger could be, other than the grace and leading of Almighty God!  And what a powerhouse for the gospel these two folk have for Christ.  Though early on in their ministry, they have already established an international presence through numerous trips overseas, all for one purpose, the sharing of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the discipleship of many tribes, languages, peoples and nations.  While childbearing, from both their journeys, was impossible, with God, all things are possible, as in September 2022, it was confirmed Belen was pregnant with their first child.  You'll be amazed, as was Craig and LaDonna, as this story unfolded on the podcast.  Friend, this is a couple we must continue to pray for as God blesses the work He has done in Emmitt and Belen's life, and as we follow their journey in the Lord.  What a VIP couple we've been able to bring to you in this series we've titled Getting to Know God's Great Warriors - Emmitt and Belen McKenzie.  Oh, and by the way, when we say VIP, we don't mean Very Important People, though they are, but Victorious Indigenous People!  Stay true to the Lord, and you will be as well!  Until next time, stay strong in the Lord, dear friend, until we see you join the Smiths on another edition of Indigenous Faith.  Bye for now!
