24.17 Most important changes in UAV-GC 2025

The UAV-GC 2025 implements important changes that revise the responsibilities and interactions between clients and contractors. The emphasis is on proactive behavior and constant communication. Procedures for changes have been streamlined, with the possibility for contractors to start before full agreement on the consequences. There is a new liability regime, including provisions for intellectual property. Dispute resolution is expanded with options such as construction mediation. The MBO has been amended to, among other things, record design activities per component, clarify the client's duty to provide information and implement the Wkb.
