24.24: Genesis 6-10: The Great Flood: God, Angry and Grieved at the Evil in the World, Makes it Right

Let’s recap our story so far… God created a beautiful earth — a utopia — for man and woman and they screwed it up by giving in to temptation. So, God cursed everybody including Satan. There were 6 generations between Adam and Noah, but there was one guy, Enoch, Noah’s great, grandfather, who found favor with God, as did Noah because of their righteousness. Along come these fallen angels, who were spirits, and they had an eye  for the pretty women on earth. They seduced them and had supernatural  children, the Nephilim, who were giants. Knowing this history is important because Jesus brings it up when He predicts what will happen in the future… 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37 NLT I’m picking through the choice parts of Genesis 6-10. But, I do recommend reading it all for yourself. Jesus said, “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” ~ ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬ - This phrase is repeated 14 times in scripture. Kind of gives the idea that God wants us to pay attention.  If you want to reap all the benefits of salvation including the 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven then… Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.  Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly… “Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.” Jesus is coming back soon! Are you ready?
