Welcome back! Today is December 11th on the DAVIDsTEA advent calendar. In today’s episode we explore December 11th’s selection ‘Japanese Sencha Green Tea’, the tea that bring you back to a time where your mom had some yummy apple crisp for desert. I’m glad you have tuned into episode 15 of Erin’s tea, please tell your friends about Erin’s Tea so I can work hard to bring you many more episodes! ERIN’S TEA SHOW NOTES December 11th’s tea is Japenese Sencha Green Tea. Steeping temperature is tricky for Japanese green tea, it’s 74 degrees and between 3-4 minutes. If you do not have a thermometer you should let the water rest after you bring it to a full boil for about 5 minutes to get the temperature as close as you can to 74 degrees. Sencha is the most popular green tea in Japan. Green Tea is full of antioxidants to cleanse your body and detoxify your body. This particular green tea has a medium amount of caffeine. Is a flavourful green tea in its natural state, I wouldn’t add milk or sweetener. If you are new to green tea, this is a prefect one to try. Ruling: I would definitely add this to my tea collection, very good green tea.
