Welcome back! Today is December 9th on the DAVIDsTEA advent calendar. In today’s episode we explore December 9th’s selection ‘North African Mint’, the tea that will help you ward off bad breath and help with digestion. I’m glad you have tuned into episode 13 of Erin’s tea, please tell your friends about Erin’s Tea so I can work hard to bring you many more episodes! ERIN’S TEA SHOW NOTES December 9th is “North African Mint”. It is a Green Tea, temperature 82 degrees, steep for 3-4 minutes. Smells minty with a hint of spice. Contains Japanese Hojian Green tea, that is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal, not steamed. Low caffeine. Be sure you are using correct steeping time and temperature. Should be drank without milk/sugar. Has ginger, peppermint, fennel. All of the above are known as digestive aids. Ruling: tastes like peppermint tea more than green tea, but it has a definite clove taste. It would be paired well after a spicy dinner. If you are having Indian, Thai or anything savory, this is a great tea for that!
