Dirk De Muynck had it all: a cushy executive job at a large Swedish automotive giant, a comfortable life and wide acclaim as a manager of reputation. Till one day in 2014 when it was all taken away from him and Dirk had to re-invent himself. One day, in the midst of a traffic jam, Dirk had an epiphany that not only changed his life, but the lives of hundreds of people in Belgium. He moved from being a savior of reputations, to a savior of lives. Dirk runs CoolXpress, a medical transport company, that uses motorcycles to transport medical tissue, liquids and pharma products to hospitals. He and his team often race against time on Belgium’s hyper-congested highways to get donor body organs to operating rooms across the country.
