In this podcast, I talk with Jen Brooks all about discovering our identity in Christ. Jen shared her powerful story of moving from a place of insecurity and trauma to finding her true self in Jesus. We delved into the various areas where people often look for their identity, like in their job roles, marriages, and as parents. Jen opened up about the lies she believed about herself and how she overcame them by turning to God's word. We also touched on the influence of societal expectations and physical appearances on our sense of self. Jen emphasized the importance of grounding our identity in what the Bible says and offered tips on starting a personal Bible study. It was an encouraging and insightful conversation filled with practical advice and personal experiences.
