This episode is very special to me. Well, they always are. This one is, because it’s the first time a movie production company contacted me to be part of a new release press tour, MUTT, called Vingt-quatre heures à New York in French. And for once, it’s a REAL trans movie. It’s written and directed by a trans guy, starring a trans guy playing a trans guy, with trans friends played by trans people. Full credits. Why is that so hard? And it just happens that the movie is great. I was nervous before meeting the creator of Mutt, so I enlisted the help of the wonderful Charlie Fabre from the Representrans collective, and the 1PCT podcast, who is a trans man specialised in transmasculine representation in cinema. With his help, there were now two of us being nervous before meeting Vuk Lungulov-Klotz. And he was amazing. He was kind, and open to all our questions, and radiant like happy artists can sometimes be.
