After Al left the military he worked for the CIA and was on an upward trajectory within the organization. However, as he continued his upward progression he noticed that he was staying longer hours at work and was away from his family; he came to the realization that he needed a career change that would give him the opportunity to spend more time with his family and poor into the people that he can serve.
