Jeff reminds us that the Bible states that money is not evil, but rather the love for money is evil. Open your hand and give it away you are able to receive it. You can't out give God. Financial stewardship, what is essential in managing your time, talents and treasure in such a way that honors the Lord and impacts others positively.  Make sure you have an intentional and disciplined spending plan.  Making sure you have a structure to it.  Part of good stewardship is given to the priority areas first.  Always spend less than you make.  Put money back for emergencies. By having an intentional structure to your financial planning you will be more at peace. If you are a married man, you will learn how to overcome differences with your wife on financial decisions.  Remember to share the burden together. There needs to be grace and peace applied to each financial decision.  Have a teamwork approach to it.  Pray together about it. Jeff mentions a good idea is to assign specific roles you and your wife have in the home. Quite possibly, the daily financial activities your wife can have and other ones regarding finances you manage. Realistic financial tips that men need to know. Spend less than you make. Build liquidity.  Always have cash or emergency money. Limit or avoid the use of debt.  Much easier to be financial situation of strength. Build for the long term, 401Ks, college and retirement. As men, make sure your wife and kids are taken care of.  Proper insurance and estate planning.
