The Cru take a trip through the sands of time to experiment with hieroglyphic mysticism in this week's episode.  Stories feature a boy yearning for freedom (no matter the cost); a timeless cruise on the Nile; adventures along the border of this world and the next; heritage in the desert; and... a Led Zeppelin song? From Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable: Scarab. A trinket in the form of a dungbeetle, especially scarabaeus saver. It originated in ancient Egypt as an amulet, and was made of polished or glazed stone, metal, or glazed faience and then perforated lenthways for suspension.  By the 13th Dynasty, scarabs became used as seals, worn as pendants or mounted on signet rings.  The insect was believer to conceal in itself the secret of eternal life, since the scarab was believed to be only of the male sex.Like this weeks episode and wish you could read as well as listen?
