Despite the growing popularity of organic foods and products, many consumers are still not aware of the benefits and downsides. The word ‘organic’ is now being used as a buzzword to sell all sorts of products. The label cannot be taken at face value. Consumers should do their own research to ensure that the product actually is what it claims to be. Data on the organic sector is not readily available and it is important to have as much information as possible in order to make better decisions. The only way to find out whether something is good or bad for you is if we have access to enough data and statistics. Who is Will Elrick? Erick has been involved with Agroecology and nature-based solutions for around ten years. Working and also training on an Agroecological farm in Albury, southern NSW. During that time, I did Agroecology at Charles Sturt University, which later life happened, and I had to move to Northern NSW. He completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours.
