Se trata de Ajinchaya, una mujer de 106 años, que a principios de septiembre comenzó con algunos síntomas propios de la enfermedad y que finalmente este domingo fue dada de alta. La anciana se topó con la saturación de los hospitales; además, por su edad fue rechazada una y otra vez en varios hospitales, hasta que finalmente fue ingresada al centro de tratamiento establecido por la Corporación Municipal Kalyan Dombivli, en Savlaram Krid, donde permaneció 10 días internada. Tras su salida, donde ya la esperaban varios medios de comunicación, la mujer mostró su certificado de alta. La India es uno de los países más afectados por el COVID-19, con cerca de cinco millones 500 mil contagios y 88 mil decesos.
