241 Project Smart & Safe with Henrik Holm and Victor Vikström (Swe)

Today's guests are Henrik Holm, Operations Coordinator and Business Developer at MittNät and Victor Vikström, system developer at Redpill Linpro. Since just a few months back, they installed a smart bench in Karlstad to increase perceived safety for kids and youths in public environments. The bench is loaded with tech in the form of a phone charger and light, as well as the ability for visitors to talk to the bench and ask questions. A project so successful, more benches are to be installed in other places. Another part of the project is a further development of a Junior Achievement corporation (Swedish UF-företag) where location information is sent to a relative or a central by clicking a button installed in a scrunchie. At the same time, the street lights in the surrounding area are turned on.
