#243 Govind Sandhu — Cancer, Grief, and the Courage to Keep Going

from Good Humans with Cooper Chapman

Govind Sandhu has lived a life most people would dream of. Born in India, raised in New Zealand, and built for adventure, he spent years travelling the world working for some of the biggest brands on the planet including Red Bull and TikTok. By every measure, he was thriving. Then everything changed. While living in Austria working for Red Bull, Govind lost his dad. And because of COVID, he couldn't get home. No funeral. No family. No closure. Just grief, alone, on the other side of the world. Not long after, at the peak of his health and fitness, he was diagnosed with blood cancer. And then he lost his partner.Three of the heaviest things a human being can carry, arriving in the same chapter of his life. With no roadmap, no playbook, and at times no way home. This episode is not a story about falling apart. It is a story about what it actually takes to keep going when life gives you every reason not to.
