Here we go then welcome back to the Turbo Sports Radio with me Ryan and as always Mr. Buck Bill will Hickey over in Canada as a go mate. Good, thanks brother. So this is Tom Shah's Curtin's part skate companion just a little breeze through not a big breakdown but we thought we got to touch it before the trophies handed out at the end of the year we thought we needed to just give him the fair crack of the whip mate.

That's it we was like a little Tom Shah pat so we got to check it out. The first man to do a 1080 mate so we got to give him some credit. This video part is five minutes and thirty seconds long it was released on the 5th of December and it says Tom is back for more and he's launched the game into another universe. He even brought a couple of goats along for the ride.

Should have the thrasher logo coming up now. And Tom Shah dropping in a crusty quarter pipe set up and huge front disaster which is mad. Massive. It is mad.

Crazy shit. We'll talk about the song at the end mate I'll get your opinions on the song. Me and a couple of boys have been talking about this and not convinced but yeah love the kick but no still really nice. Yeah.

I think is this a kona? Looks like kona. Yeah it is set up on there. He does have a good style mate you know he's he rips around the parks.

Nice strong style. Absolutely flowing. What's yours is he rocking now is he on the new balance. We're in some nice little new balance time there.

This is wild. This is wild. That was lovely. Switch flip over a little mini mega sort of situation.

What was that? Thank you 720 maybe you can count. That's how it's all. You've got the back 360 kick flip.

So impressive. So that big without grab. Love that love that kind of room. Cliff Berg, yes backside flip there mate.

Yeah probably floaty. Front biggie. That was a nice front big spin right up straight up and straight down. And you don't see him a lot on vert.

So yeah. Yeah. It's got number one. Couldn't really take what that trick is.

It's like a fakey shove nose grind. I don't know. Yeah no idea what that is. The old Bertman himself.

But that is nice. Oh I'm front blunt flip. Shiki right over the gap as well. Fack you know that's blatantly massive.

Yeah. Frontside air over the full boat. Yeah that's big. That was Smith.

Big Smith. Bounce back in. That's wild over that gap. What is that?

It's like a rodeo. Yeah look it's me. Yeah. You've got a nose grind.

Nolly flip out and then he's got the goal post involved again. He likes to get the goal post out. He got the amount on his last part mate. I'm trying to think what that was called now.

Got it if you can. Almost in D-way. Honnage your son. Oh Bob.

This is the mega ramp. And his goat number two. Turn it up. There he is.

But that mate. Nolly flip into like a mega vert ramp. He's risking it all mate. That is crazy.

And up for me up there. Oh there's Bob obviously with the switch front foot and first foot lip slide. Nicely done. That is nuts.

Still killing it. That's really nice. Like a front side. Switch front side Fibo.

Wow. He's definitely pushing first. He should have put that Nolly flip into the van because his last trick. That would have been nice I think.

That's his last trick there. Is that a blunt flip out or is he grinding in there? I can't even tell. Yeah I think it's a grind.

Yeah. It's front wheel is left over on that second angle. Yeah super impressive. But as a viewer surely you've got to leave that Nolly flip into a mega ramp as the end has to be.

Yeah obviously the mega ramp is fucking massive. Probably a little bit different but the bird riders who do watch this like they probably have more of a reference of how big all these ramps are. But just somebody you don't see as often flat ground trick into a bird ramp. Well and into the mega ramp.

Yeah just the bird ramp. Like two bird ramps. Jesus Christ. Yeah but the song mate so zombie by the cranberries like legendary kind of tune and everything.

I give my take on it why it kind of didn't really work for me. One thing was a bit maybe a bit too slow but that song is in South East Asia. You can't walk it down a street at night. If you go past a karaoke bar mate that is being so everyone sings it.

You can't go to a bar about hearing it. That's why I hear now. It's got that connotation to it. Tom the guy I've been skating with recently the South African.

He was telling me that I think it's the South African rugby team. The fans they sing it a lot. Maybe it's like Vindaloo for us or something. Yeah.

So you'd hear it so much. The connotation is all you can see in his mind's eye is the South African rugby fans. You know good songs bad songs whatever they can be like not necessarily like jaded music is one of those things that will give you memories and references and sometimes they could be overrided with new ones whatever that can definitely give you feelings about it that that is what it is. It's a crack in song.

I actually really like it because I don't hear it that often. But for a skate song you're almost waiting for them to like edit the song a little bit and bring in like the drums or bass a bit more because it is like an empowering song which the idea of it probably worked but it wasn't enough with like powerful tricks like that you need some drums getting smacked you know what I mean or something going off. The Metallica was the intro for the DC video wouldn't it? So that kind of got you pumped and it was free bird which was his main part.

But again there was free bird is an epic song. It does have like a bit of a slowly burnt you know winds into the song and then it kind of has a crescendo which has got an epicness to it I suppose. So it's a bit different. It was a bad song choice mate but I think he could have picked something a bit punchier.

I think it would have helped him out. I hear that. And just going back to it that Nolliflip I really I think he's kind of like downplaying it and like you were kind of saying it maybe from the vert guys it might be a bit different it's hard for us to comprehend it but seeing someone Nolliflip into that that should have had like you know five different angles no you know fait a black and play that it's like a declaration of like this is what we're doing we're not even into the Rams I know Jocelyn's doing what he's doing and TJ's doing what he's doing but this is this is what we're doing and you know I've never seen that before just considered even rolling into that mate yeah never in a million years I'd rather try and jump down to all over than trying to all into that ramp. I'm sure if you're versed into like big bar five big bowl but skating you know how to bail on a ramp it's all about the angles and the suggestions obviously you're gonna have times we get wrong and you just fall flat but I'm sure he's got that understanding but you know we saw all the bears beforehand.

Still it's not just you know obviously sort of sliding down around but you're not sliding down around properly because he's trying to land on his feet on the board so he's running down making like little silly bears probably in between that shirt it's got a fucking hurt and just be a big old mind trip you know don't matter how good your fucking Nolliflip's are you ain't practicing an introvert introvert and there's a lot of fucking fur you probably not even flip it into a free fool for a little bit yeah yeah yeah yeah fucking crazy. Before we leave the list and make this only this is only going to be a short one we just thought we'd give Tom Charlotte a little bit of space on the on the channel but any little favorite tricks in there rather than the Nolliflip mate is there anything you kind of really liked in there? Really liked the I was gonna call it a little cheeky little switch flip but that cheeky little switch flip I could have went over a fucking school bus and that's actually 60 flip any trick like a big flip trick no grab chart marks. Yeah for me one of my favorites is Backtail Shove out I really like that because we don't get to see there's not many of the newer vert guys doing little sessions on the weirdest stuff on the Mega Ramp you don't really see it as much you just see those courses now where they're kind of like the other islands of the world where they're just they're firing it they're firing out but you don't get to see like the the hip attack you don't see those sort of angles that often so that was it and also that switch front so FIVEO on the goal post on the top as well was fucking mental I can't even imagine the weight kind of distribution and trusting that is just wild how heavy you are coming down I know these guys you know the top tier pros and everything but the weight the weight of coming down from that position in switch mate and knowing you've got all that way to go down mind fuck to me oh god yeah mental first watch for you mate I'll throw a turbo rating out for you I know we're not the vert guys we're not the trend transition boys but what's your tevorating for it it's got to be a solid four really obviously vert is something that we don't see all the time we're seeing it a little bit more often than not which is nice but otherwise we were seeing it by seasoned pros and some of them had done the full skate thing within reason and everything else and this is different but he's on that on that next level of vert riding so that's a four from me it has to be a four it's I mean it's close to a five for a vert part mate I'd probably prefer to have seen a bit more vert a few more vert lines a couple of runs yeah you know I just think it just should be a bit more consistency yeah that's it and you just get a little bit more out there little touches and flares in it yeah exactly well we'll leave it there mate just a quick one for Tom you know he's put out two really good parts and he's definitely in the conversation with skater he is so we thought we'd have to touch him yeah right well that's been double switch radio I'll be Ryan that's been will and we'll catch you on the next one
