244 - Christmas Evil (1980) Review

A man, who was traumatized as a child during Christmas, experiences a mental break after being deceived at his work in a toy factory, goes on a killing spree around Christmas. Christmas Evil is not at all what we were expecting during our first watch. Expecting a horror slasher, this film is a character piece of a man, traumatized by Christmas during his youth, loosing his grip on reality. Brandon Maggart, does a great job portraying a man transforming into his own vision of what Santa should be after discovering Santa isn't real. While the movie has misses in developing the story, it does have some good acting performances as well as a crazy ending. Watch the movie and catch our review.
