GREEN AND LEAN - The projects had to have indigenous ownership and they had to be renewable. At 3.9 cents/kWh the result was historically cheap renewable energy in Alberta. And for their part in all this, the Indigenous Electricity Working Group picked up an Emerald Award. We speak to Andres Filella, of the Metis Nation, a consultant to the working group.
