248. Amy Giddon - Daily Haloha

from The Dr. Darian Parker Podcast · host Dr. Darian Parker, PhD, NSCA-CPT

In 2017, Amy saw the way that our social wellness was increasingly strained by polarization and drained by social media. And while in the midst of a notable executive career, she participated in a sticky note project in the NYC subway that sparked an idea. She saw how a collaborative public experience can unite thousands of anonymous strangers in an uplifting moment of shared humanity. She imagined how this type of social magic could be unleashed through a digital platform. She decided to take a hiatus from her career in management consulting, financial services, and women's leadership and focus on solving the twin problems of social isolation and loss of empathy. She is now the Founder and CEO of the startup empathy app Daily Haloha. - Links: App: http://onelink.to/haloha Website: https://dailyhaloha.com/ Socials: https://www.instagram.com/dailyhaloha/, https://twitter.com/dailyhaloha, https://www.facebook.com/DailyHaloha/ Connect with me!: https://www.linkedin.com/in/amygiddon/ Music Credit: Scott Holmes - Future Bass Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/dr-ds-social-network/donations Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
