Dennis had al op jonge leeftijd door dat als je als kind met dyslexie wilt overleven op school, je met de slimste kinderen van de klas bevriend moet worden. Deze overlevingsstrategie hanteert hij in het werk nog steeds: contacten leggen met mensen die hem kunnen helpen iets te realiseren, zelf de 1e stap zetten, uit je comfortzone stappen en continu je eigen grenzen verleggen. Het heeft hem veel succes gebracht in het werk.
