25 Did you eat your vegetables today? Join a CSA

from Health Currents Radio · host Ellen Goldsmith

Community Supported Agriculture programs, known as CSAs, are a great way to ensure you have lots of vegetables every week to prepare and eat. Today Ellen Goldsmith speaks with Shari Raider, founder and owner of Sauvie Island Organics in Portland, Oregon. Sauvie Island Organics feeds over 750 families through their CSA program, and provides local, organic vegetables to numerous restaurants, having just begun to also provide produce to a local hospital's cafeteria. Fresh food is on the way and a CSA is a great way to get it. Eat your vegetables!
