25: Introduction to the Chakras

This episode is the introduction to a series of episodes on the chakras! One chakra will be released each week, starting with the root chakra next week on June 8. I am SO excited to announce that I will be releasing 2 episodes per week for each of the chakras - one overview and one INTERVIEW! The interviews will be with someone who is learning to master something related to the chakra of the week! This week's episode is an overview of the chakras. I talk about the location, colour and key themes for each one. I discuss how the chakras are energy centres in alignment with our spines and that together they are one system. Our emotions and experiences move through the chakra system and can cause them to become unbalanced. There are many ways that we can bring them back into alignment including meditation, yoga, crystals, energy healing and movement. Follow along for the next 7 weeks as we dig deeper into every chakra. In the first episode each week, I will discuss the themes and shadows of each one. Some more specific healing techniques and affirmations will be provided. The second episode each one will be an interview with someone who has an intimate relationship with the chakra of the week. Their experiences of healing and struggling are inspiring and so relatable!
