In this episode I continue the Ironman Haines City series with my friend Michael Rasco. Michael has a solid race overall and goes into the details of traveling from further away to this race. He has a ton of fun on the race course and enjoys the challenge of the day but passes on some key tips for getting his bike down to the race site and even how to have some fun. He talks about hanging out with Big Sexy Racing and enjoyed being in the team atmosphere. He has a great amount of experience racing as he has completed more than 40-70.3’s and in 2015 he was selected to race Kona for a national charity, Children’s Tumor Foundation. In this humbling experience he was able to raise more than $40,000 for children in need of assistance. This allows him to have a fair assessment of the course and give some solid feedback of this course. He mentions some tips for getting the morning started on a good note and tips for keeping training simple.
