25 Junior Infants students at risk of having no teacher

Parents of pupils at St. Corban's Boys National School are facing uncertainty ahead of the new school year this September.The situation arises because the Department of Education has been unable to allocate an additional teacher to the school. As a result, 25 children due to start Junior Infants could be left without a school place, or alternatively, the school's First Class pupils may be combined into a single class to accommodate demand.This has left many parents concerned as they await clarity on arrangements for the upcoming academic year…Andrea is joined by listeners to discuss.
