#25 - KNE Films

In this episode of What's Up Omaha I sit down with my friend, Kenny Cheairs of KNE Films, and we discuss his journey behind the camera. Initially Kenny started out as an artist/entertainer that craved to be in front of the camera, but after loosing his sight in 2005 he had decided that there would have to be a different path for his life. While Kenny still loves to perform he has adjusted his focus on his film and video work. A lot of people may find it odd that someone who is legally blind is a filmographer & videographer, but Kenny is more than comfortable in his new role recently graduating from film school. Kenny's goal in life is to let people know that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover and that people with disabilities should be given the same opportunities that others receive.
