Today’s work was real and it was wholesome!” This is the feeling that leaves us, even though exhausted, however, deeply rejuvenated, as if we have drunk from the Well of Life itself. Not so, when we deeply know that we didn’t give our work all that we got. Rather, we just skimmed the surface in order to just get through. We know that we went through nothing but a very shallow transformation, at best, if any at all. And this leaves us feeling frustrated, wasted, cheated and shameful of self, deep inside. In this lecture, we are going to take a deep look into what it takes to making it real, Wholesome and Totally Transformative. This lecture is based primarily on two maamorim the Rebbe delivered, one on Shavuot and the other on this Shabbat in 1968, exploring the development of how G-d gave us the Torah, and of How created the world.
