25. Win the Day with Baseball Coach Sean West

On this episode of Beyond The Limit, we sit down with Sean West. Sean is currently an assistant coach in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system. Out of high school, Sean played baseball for Palm Beach Atlantic University and San Diego Christian College. Upon graduation, West served as SDCC's interim head coach in the fall of 2008. He moved on to serve as an assistant coach at Denison University. He then spent five seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at The University of Texas at Dallas.Sean has tremendous experience within summer collegiate leagues across the country. In addition to coaching and winning a championship in the Cape Cod League in 2013, West has served as the general manager of the Licking County Settlers of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League winning championships in both ’12 & ’13. Most recently, West served as the Manager for the Savannah Bananas of the Coastal Plains League winning the championship in their inaugural 2016 campaign.Sean has had the opportunity to coach over 95 players affiliated with professional baseball, including three first round selections in the MLB draft.
