250. How To Overcome The Fear of Outshining

Ever felt bad about your success or dimmed your light so others didn’t get too uncomfortable? In this solo episode, I’m talking all about what happens to your social circles, friends and family as you grow and the fact that not everyone can come with you on your path to growth, and that’s okay! It is challenging to navigate finding your path, following your heart and soul’s desires, and feeling the fear of outshining those around you who don’t understand it or fully support it. And we have to learn to let go of the fear and create space for what’s meant for us. In this episode, we cover:  The root of the fear of outshining others.  How to stop taking responsibility to change others or bring them along.  The more you shine, the more you illuminate people’s shadows, and that can be triggering.  Loving them from afar vs resenting them up close. Choosing your growth over the comfort of others.  Your decision to go all in on your best life is nobody's business.
