#252 uncounted days
from The 365 Project Pt. II Hosted by Eric Wallack
the days always run into each other this time each year as the old slips quietly away into the new no urgency or fanfare just another page to turn for ten days no need for clocks or calendars i quickly find a rhythm of light and dark regardless of springs or grids i measure time in heartbeats soon what we call the new year given a different number and an adjusted flawed outline in twelve will wrap itself around me tightening behind my back but for now i will lose myself in days uncounted unaccountable for recalling what number or name we’ve stamped on this countless moon fall and sun arc epw 12.28.07 perrysburg, oh
