We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. In this session, we continue our series on rebuilding the altar with the twelfth tribe/son of Israel in Benjamin. Here, we explore the implications of how Rachel names her son and Jacob renames him and how God uses the symbolism of in the example of Jesus and his pursuit of the cross to turn all mounting into joy. We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives.
