Growing up in LA, Lily Nabet didn't foresee pro soccer in her future — but here she is, preparing for her sixth season in the pro ranks. She made the move from NWSL side Angel City FC to the USL Super League's Carolina Ascent at the beginning of the calendar year, and she's found a new home in a familiar place, as she played collegiately at Duke.
