253 - I Had to Say NO to Private Practice with Kade Anderson

Saying NO to working in private practice is not what Kade Anderson had planned when he graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2020, but that's exactly what he decided to do. Instead, he now works for Plena Healthcare as a mobile Podiatrist in aged care and absolutely loves it. Based on what others had said, he initially had apprehensions about working in aged care, but for him, it is a perfect fit and gives him the work-life balance he was after. Before podiatry, Kade had careers in Real Estate & Pathology, which meant he was slightly older than the average graduate. He did apply for multiple positions in private practice, but by the end of most interviews, he had already worked out he didn't want to work for them and that he wasn't a good fit.
