To consolidate (v) - to become, or cause something to become, stronger, and more certain. Perfectionism (n) - The tendency to strive for flawless performance, hindering language learners' progress. To internalise (v) - to accept or absorb an idea, opinion, belief, etc. so that it becomes part of your character. Near miss (n) - an attempt to do or achieve something that fails although it almost succeeds.
