Barbara Ann Mojica received her Bachelor of Arts (Hunter College) and Master of Arts Degrees (Queens College) in History. She also holds graduate certifications in school supervision and administration. Barbara has been a life long educator in the fields of early childhood and special education, having spent many years as a teacher, principal, and school district administrator. Retirement has brought with it the opportunity to return to her love of history.She wrote “Forest Park, Queens, Past, Present and Future” for The Municipal Engineers Journal in 2001. Barbara currently writes historical articles under her banner “Passages” for The Columbia Insider, and is writing her own award-winning children’s book series Little Miss HISTORY Travels to. She is also the proud mother of two children and six grandchildren.
