256 Like We Have Been Saying History

from Language of Bromance · host Richard and Shawn

History is full of weird and interesting tidbits.  This week we go down a rabbit hole of Mammoth Proportions.  During the presidency of Thomas Jefferson there was the great Lewis and Clark expedition west.  This tale as we were taught in school was to map out the new Louisiana Purchase and get to the Pacific, but there was an alternative mission.   During this time period a scientist were just starting to discover fossils.  One of those was the Mammoth. Jefferson was so interested in these animals that he sent Lewis and Clark west to find one.  Not fossils but a real life living Mammoth.   Give a listen to The Language of Bromance in Episode 256 Like We Have Been Saying History. Every so often their friendship turns to a bitter rivalry with their nerdiest creation the draft episodes. An original take on a best of or a top 10 list. The draft episodes are done like an NFL Draft 7 rounds where Richard and Shawn flip-flop picks on various topics.
