256 Making Sabbath in Mark 2:27

We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. In this session, we explored Jesus's comments in Mark 2:27 that humankind was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath was made for humanity to point out further more what we make of the Sabbath often makes us. We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives.
