258 The Chocolate War (1988)
from High School Slumber Party Hosted by Brian Rodriguez
Brian welcomes first time guest Bobby Fischer to the Friday night Slumber Party to chat up 1988's The Chocolate War. Adapted from a book banned from High School library shelves; The Chocolate War is about bullying, defiance, politics and the power of just saying no. Directed by Keith Gordon and starring Ilan Mitchell-Smith (Weird Science), Wallace Langham, John Glover and Doug Hutchison; The Chocolate War is a different kind of late 80s teen film. Also, Dan Colon calls in to talk about his Movember charity campaign. Donate at the link here! https://us.movember.com/mospace/8855489
