曰国风曰雅颂号四诗当讽咏诗既亡春秋作寓褒贬别善恶解读《诗经》中有四类诗。一叫“国风”，是春秋时各国的民歌；二叫“小雅”，是天子宴请宾客的乐曲；三叫“大雅”，是诸候朝见天子的赞歌；四叫“颂”，是王室祭祖的乐章。这“四诗”，都应该很好地诵读咏唱。周天子“采风”的制度废弃之后，孔子编写了《春秋》一书，内容有褒有贬，寓意各不相同，对忠奸善恶作出了分辨。
