#26 - A Week for Shenanigans

It's all happening once: The WGA strike is (tentatively) over, and the regular season has but a week to go. We celebrate the huge victory for creatives and unions everywhere and disagree over the word "content," before diving into a slew of topics. Nolan secured a ticket to Killers of the Flower Moon and remembers an all-time theatergoing experience: attending the LA premiere of The Irishman. We get into the differences between film and television, and what went wrong for The Walking Dead. Both the AL & NL Wild Cards are pure chaos and we're dissecting the rest of the schedule. Brody got really into Only Murders in the Building" and Nolan went on a New Hollywood auteur kick with Duel, The Untouchables, The Fury, and Hardcore. Lastly, on October 1st we'll be announcing the launch of the Mudville Patreon. It's a bit earlier than we intended to do this, but we get into why on the show and will explain more very, very soon. It's free to sign up, and we hope you'll decide to join and support us: www.patreon.com/mudville Follow us on dying Twitter @mudvillepod
