He is director of the UT Southwestern Sports Neuroscience and Concussion Program.He has been a sideline neurotrauma consultant for Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University football, and Arizona State University women’s soccer.  He is currently working as an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant for the NFL and NASCAR.He is on the board of directors for the American Headache Society (AHS) and the headache Cooperative of the Pacific. He is also the president of the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy.
