26 | God Gives New Life, Hope and Identity

In today's episode, Terry takes one verse from each chapter of the Bible and conducts an experiment to see if there is a thru-story.  What she finds is that there is a pattern that repeats throughout the Bible. Throughout all of recorded history, man continues to cycle through this pattern: Death / brokenness God speaks People drift Warning Judgment Preservation Humility Faith Hope Victory The Good news is that through it all, God calls a broken, prideful humanity into humility and faith.  He preserves them through discipline and judgment.  He gives them new life, hope and identity in His Son and through His Spirit.  He brings final victory through Jesus. The scriptures Terry uses in this episode are all Chapter 5, verse 5 of the book she mentions.
