26: Laurel Saville: Creating Worlds for Others to Enjoy

Laurel Saville is an award-winning author of numerous books, articles, essays, and short fiction. She is a teacher, a marketing and advertising guru, and a cancer survivor. Coming from an unconventional childhood, Laurel found refuge in books and libraries and there she found her spark as a writer. She shares that the best thing about writing is the ability to create worlds that others can find and enjoy. Writing novels and short stories isn't the easiest path to make a living, so she chased jobs that involved writing-public relations, marketing, brand development, advertising- as she believes that any type of writing can be a good ground in honing your craft in a variety of ways.
