26. [Part 2] My relationship journey & triggers

(If you didn't listen to part 1 yet, head back and start there!) We left last week with a tough conversation between me and my partner and today we discuss how that conversation changed everything. My idea of a "relationship" was being challenged. I was scared of others' judgment of our decision- of what felt good for us both. What I came to learn was that we had both done enough work on ourselves to be able to be vulnerable, express our needs and desires, hold space for each other, and allow each other to be seen, heard, and fully supported this time around. And it didn't matter what anyone else thought of the situation as long as we were showing up as our most authentic selves, together.
