Its mission was to take passengers down to the Titanic shipwreck, whose final resting place sits about 12,500 feet below the North Atlantic’s surface. But the submersible wouldn’t make it. An implosion took the lives of all 5 on board the sub. We discuss the disaster, what went wrong, and how it could’ve been prevented.
