Vừa qua, các ông lớn công nghệ là Jensen Huang của Nvidia và CEO Apple Tim Cook đã đến thăm Việt Nam, gặp gỡ một số nghệ sĩ, nhà sáng tạo nội dung và lập trình viên. Những tưởng chuyến thăm này các tỷ phú sẽ đầu tư vào Việt Nam nhưng sau đó, Jensen Huang đã công bố đầu tư 200 triệu USD cho cơ sở phát triển về AI tại Indonesia. Tim Cook cũng rót vốn tổng cộng 98 triệu USD vào 4 học viện ở Indonesia. Theo chia sẻ của thị trưởng Indonesia, kế hoạch đầu tư của các tỷ phú vào quốc gia này là do họ có sự chuẩn bị về nguồn nhân lực, hạ tầng công nghệ 5G, đất trống ở các khu công nghiệp để xây dựng những nhà máy lớn. Văn phòng Apple ở Singapore hiện nay đã được mở rộng lên 3600 người với thế mạnh về nguồn nhân lực giỏi và thủ tục hành chính đơn giản.
