Hello, the Bill Plaz, just the clap. The only show where we finally get to it. It's taken a thousand years, which I think is less than the time that has occurred to breed a barons into the Badlands. I almost thought that I meant the episode.

Good work. I know, well, what are you gonna do? This is one of the waiting weeks to talk about as we get through the list where we had all of the questions. No, it's only because I know you and I have a lot of time because there were things and stuff and injuries and accidents.

Yeah. Most of that last part. Yeah, not so much things and stuff. I'm not so much in general.

I call it an incident because I didn't do anything wrong and I almost died. I like it because it sounds like the Battle of New York. I got through into the Badlands. Am I binged?

The fuck? It's surprisingly smart and speed and wonderful. Yes. I have issues with the third season, but we'll get into that after we get through the first two seasons.

Waiting? Waiting? Excellent. I know you recommended this to me, Deb.

Yeah, because like I said, it got recommended to me at a really weird time. Because like I said, I would have watched that because of the efforts involved and I thought it was dumb. And so I'm like, no, I'll watch it. What's a few seasons there?

There's not a name in it to in my opinion. Right. Who are the writers on this? Oh, they were the one that had Smallville.

There we go. Um, like I said, I never watched this item. Because Smallville, no. Which I appreciate their mission statement.

No flights, no flights, no something else. Just no. Um, just no. But I never got in the Smallville.

Ever. I didn't even watch the episodes when they had a flash on it. No. Thank you.

Though I do like the joke of the episode where they have, they produce Aquaman, Arthur Curry. And he goes, do you want to join the, was it like the Junior Life Guard Association? I remember. Tell them all again as Clark Kent goes, I don't think I'm ready for the JLA.

Which was like, no, that's funny. But other than like, dumb little knots, I never really got into Smallville. But, um, into the Badlands is a fantastic Kung Fu western. But it's also just interesting and smart and emotionally involved.

Well, it's based on, uh, I'm going to get this wrong. Journey to the west, Journey into the west. The story of the Monkey King. Don't care.

Which I actually read in, um, The only Journey to the Monkey King story I've ever actually liked had to do with the Iron Druid. And with the Iron Druid, he took it on an apprentice who was female. And later in the series when she almost died, he basically gave her up and threw over to the Iron Druid, i.e. a Monkey King.

To deal with her and make her solve all of her problems, make everything okay. Well, I think the, um, I'm gonna fuck this up. Iron Maiden, Iron, what was it? Druid?

I think her, its equivalent would be the, what do they call it? The Widow. And that one. Cause he doesn't give up MK like three times, which is super weird.

Uh, that MK gets sold out, I don't know, constantly. Despite like his whole thing of like having a superpower. What I'm quote, um, is like a closely guarded secret yet. By the end of the second season, everyone fucking knows that when you cut him, he turns into a badass.

Or more of a badass. Um, this, this, this, not going to be this, it was a bit of a sleeper. And I think it's a sleeper for AMC as well. Like I said, there's a reason I waited seasons for me to watch this.

I agree. And I'm glad I did. And thank you, AMC. Cause I mean, you had really good series, but you also had really bad series.

They do. Um, we're not going to get into it until- Winter series should have been longer. But continue. We're not going to get into some of their, I wouldn't say it in less or serious, but we're not going to get into Preacher until the season finale, which is next week.

Uh, I'll get into that later. Um, Deb, you read the comics. Yeah. I will say this before we even talk about Preacher.

There's a reason why I try not to read any of those or look at any of those for a very long time. Well, and I'm upset and annoyed and fuck you, Ruth Niggum. Uh, I'm not sure if they're casting, but it's- No, no, it has nothing to do with her casting or directing or anything like that. She played very well how they told her and how the story was.

My issue with that, um, we'll put a pen in that and we'll get to it next week with the Preacher finale. Um, I will say Hoover is a vampire and you read the comics. So what the fuck? Um, on that one.

So there's a little bit of a, a little bit of a blame to what's on that the next week. But, um, into the Madlands, I found incredibly engrossing. Uh, casting spot on. Um, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to get one of the like hashtag tattoos.

Lazy. Um, I've never killed a person, but I'll get that fucking tattoo. Lazy. Like I killed eight people.

Yeah, no, it's totally lazy. So I don't have to go out of my way to kill eight people to get that tattoo. Um, but wait, the tattoo artist guy like kind of drops off like after the first half of the first season. Lazy.

Why is all the writing in your opinion lazy, Deb? Let's- Let's- Let's- Let's- I'll let be out later when it makes sense and I don't have to explain it. Okay. Um, because I will say that writing is lazy in the third season.

Um, I think the first two seasons are fantastic. There's a reason why I pushed you towards it. Uh, the acting, though, like I said, the casting spot on, um, coming from a non-established intellectual property was- I'm floored by it. The fight choreography is out of this world.

It's right up there with a, uh, Jackie Chan movie with- which by the way, the guy who plays Sonny, studied under Jackie Chan, so it's not weird that he uses like, environmental stuff, uh, on sets to fight. I don't have a problem with him using the environmental elements at all. Yeah, no one said- did it. Um, my issue in terms of storyline is that it's always been very grounded.

And then in the third season, it becomes weirdly mystical. And repeat, like a Z. I don't know if it's lazy or just off the rails. That's- I think off the rails is a bit more where they're like, we're gonna introduce Asta.

Is that the name of the- Asta? Something like that. The weird kind of like, um, Shangri-R-Law of, you know, their- their martial arts and all that. And then they seem to be able to like, transfer their powers through this weird bunker, from Sonny's child to the weird caregiver guy.

You know what I'm talking about? Yes. Okay. Because you're fishing your nose like, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

No, I'm just like- No, I'm just like, I'm in a wait. Yeah. Exactly. Like, I'm like, ah, Jesus fucking Christ.

Lazy. We'll see. The first half of the third season is out. We haven't seen the second half.

I didn't have a release date for the second half of the third season. Um, I just don't know where it's going. And I guess I'm a little twitchy about it. Um, because like I said, they kind of bring into that like, eastern Asian magic aspect.

And I'm not okay with it- not having a grounded reality. We'll see kind of where it goes, but that's where I'm unhappy with it. Which means I was unhappy for maybe two episodes- Actually, I wonder why they're buying them out immediately. I'm sorry.

I said, I wonder why I didn't buy into that show immediately. No, I had to wait and fucking get sold on it. And that took two seasons. And now selling you on it, it's what, into the third season?

And they're basically selling you on weird mystic things that may have happened? Yeah, but I haven't sold on it for the first two seasons. I mean, it's phenomenal. You hope the money they needed.

The money they needed. To continue on. I think they teamed this up with Walking Dead for- Yes. Okay.

Well- That should be- You're not a AMC executive. No, Walking Dead should not have been more than four or five seasons. I- Also- Strong limited screen on that. You know, they're- Like I said, they're gonna start on like season- Like what, nine or ten now?

Yes, and I don't really get to sleep. Yeah, Rick will die. Rick will die. What's their shoot off show?

What is it called? Look, I'm not saying it's a good title. Everyone hates it. Lily James doesn't.

The guy that plays Morgan. Yeah, fear the Walking Dead, which- Everyone fucking hates. No, everyone hates it. It's never gonna hit.

And every series they've tried to make it a streaming hit on, it fucking sucked. The fact that it launched this summer, the news season came back this summer. And everyone hated it. I haven't read anything about its reception at all.

That means no one likes it. Well, no, I didn't go out of my way to read anything about it. So, that doesn't mean people aren't talking about it. Not in a way.

Ignite. Ignite. Ignite. Ignite.

Ignite, indeed. But InnoValeins is a fantastic show, and despite its, my opinion shortcomings on the third season- Lazy. I'm excited to see how the third season ends. I think if it- if it teamed it up with Walking Dead on Sundays- No, thank you.

Why? Because if you're the Walking Dead sucks that hard. Yeah, but if we're gonna team it up with Walking Dead, they're gonna have to get rid of your Walking Dead. That's not true.

There are other days it can be on TV. Let me know when those are, and I won't watch them. For the Walking Dead, yeah. Shit.

Literally everyone hates it. Throw it on a Friday night. No. At least Graham made it through Friday night.

For the Walking Dead, wouldn't it? This is gonna be apparently a very antagonistic episode. No. Wolf Cop 2, which I'm not calling- I did not watch it.

Why not? I want this just to be clear at the top of this real quick depth. I'm sorry, cut your eye. I'm not gonna let you finish.

I know the name of the movie is Another Wolf Cop, but that makes it sound like it's a movie about a other character that becomes a Wolf Cop. It's just an even girl, another Wolf Cop movie. But so to avoid confusion with the actual title, we're calling it Wolf Cop 2 because, admittedly we're better from the writers on that one. I'll give you a lazy one, Another Wolf Cop.

Wolf Cop 2, it's so fun. Pass. Why? Lazy.

He fucks a weird cat. Pass. With multiple teats, it's so fucking funny. So good.

So campy. I am so in on all levels with Wolf Cop. It doesn't matter how bad it is, it is my Sharknado. There is Wolf Cop.

It's my Sharknado. I'm sorry, what? What? What?

What? No, what'd you say? I get after the A by a Nazi cat. What does that even mean?

You'll get fucked in the ass. Why a Nazi cat? Why does it have to be a Nazi cat? No, because apparently those are the ones taking me strongest opinion and making their strongest presence in the world.

Nazi cats. Nazi cats? I don't have enough fucking breadcrumbs to follow you back on that one. I watched the total recall 2012 remake the one with Colin Farrell.

You've got some opinions, please. No, yours first. Show your work. Okay.

My biggest one is that in the pros column, I like the production and effects of the... And the music. I'm sorry? And the music.

It was the same guy that did the score for the one in the 80s and one now. It's the same same music. Yeah. Same guy.

Yes. I didn't really notice the score was going to last on me on that one. My pros were that I like the kind of updated book of it. I'm sorry, let me rephrase that.

I'll get the updated effects. I'll get to the look of it in a second, which is not pro. I liked that they had a girl three boobs, because that was nice and not at the original. That was about it, actually.

My guns were... I didn't like the stylized look of it. It's coming from... I'm going to fuck this up.

Super bad? I think this might be his name. Scott's an even. Nope.

That was the guy who played the hybrid. What is Len Weisman? Weisman. Oh yeah.

No, right. Because he's a executive producer. Lucifer. Ha ha ha.

I win. How'd Lewis have her go? Great. It's going to be on that foot, eventually.

Well, now we're waiting for the fourth season and we're not getting it. No, we're waiting for it. We're going to get it. We're not.

Why not now? They didn't renew it. They didn't pay for it. It's not happening.

It's big, we're new to on Netflix, though. I just said that. I get that. They still aren't going to pay for it.

What are you talking about? They're paying for it. We're going to see it. We'll see what happens.

We're not going to pay two or three seasons. We might get two out of Netflix, but I don't think it's going to go farther than that. But Len Weisman was the director of the guy who did all of the that's the financial underworld movies. We're supernatural, I guess.

Except for the fact that they abused animals. Well, it wasn't like my load Otis, the werewolf story. But okay. Yeah, they actually did abuse wolves.

Yeah, that bad. I think they actually abused the idea of werewolves, more than they abused actual wolves. Simple, stied. Werewolves?

On that set, because it's werewolves, werewolves. Okay, I was doing a wordplay thing. Definitely mad that the kid was. Animals actually died.

Well, I think we can blame actual vampires for that because they were trying to save their species. Okay, so Deb's not having any of my fun. I think it was- Maybe your penis should have died. I think maybe it did.

Probably. I think it's silly that he wakes up from a reality where he's banging, came back and sailed to a reality where he's banging just a beal. I think the cast was too pretty. Sorry.

But issue was that it was supposed to be two movies. They only made it one. And it was stupid that they had fucking Han Solo in one movie, even though he was supposed to only appear in two. Han Solo?

Ford. Han Solo? Ford. Ford.

What are you talking about? Sorry. What's the name of the actor who played Han Solo? Harrison Ford?

Yeah. Ford appeared in like maybe 10 minutes of the new movie. Are you talking about Blade Runner versus Total Recall right now? Yeah, I'm talking about Blade Runner.

Okay, we can get a total recall. Why does Total Recall was that fucking terrible? Right. And also, what was the name that they gave Total Recall for the new movie?

It was like, Out of Time? No, it was a Total Recall. No, they gave it a different name. No, it was just Total Recall.

Because I have him and like Amanda- It's like, feel their fine side and Jessica Beal. And it was one of those like, if you brace in the Out of Time, you'll be okay. Nope. Nope.

It was just Total Recall that. And now that he confused the Blade Runner. Total In what film? Total Recall.

Justin Timberlake wasn't in either one. The film, I think, enough. In time? I am thinking of it in time.

Thank you. Right, different movie. Like, different movie from a different movie. Dog, you run.

So how much did the Bruce Willis come in the central roast? Not that go. I heard that his, you know, ex-wife roast was awkward. It was awkward, but it was really funny.

No, I heard it was good, but it was awkward. I think it's within the, the kind of central roast, which I'm a bit of a connoisseur. I'm a bit of a connoisseur. I'm a bit of a connoisseur.

The short connoisseur. I'm a bit of a connoisseur. I'm a bit of a connoisseur. It's probably the, I was like, top four.

Only because I can think of my favorite four, and I think he said the bottom four. I asked you something about this though. How do you feel about Bruce Willis? In every movie he's ever done, and how he is a person?

Yes and yes. Now in that, I'm very disappointed, and I audibly, how is he a piece of shit? He's been awful to all of his wives and daughters. Also, would you like to talk about how him and Kevin Smith did on their movie with Tracy Morgan?

He's a piece of shit. For cop out, I won't play Devil's Ab, come on that. No, he's a lazy douchebag. Kevin Smith or?

No. Dirt and cop out, I think Kevin Smith was a lazy piece of shit. Really, really? Because his actor insisted he was only filmed after XAM with the light on him because he didn't like to wake up early, and then Tracy Morgan did all the work despite the fact he had diabetes in a broken ankle.

I think it was a very difficult set. And I don't think Kevin Smith helped being that that was really... No, he did not help, but that was not the point. The point is that this particular actor would be too much money.

I think there were, I think there were multiple things going in the movie. He should die in a fire. Bruce Willis? Yes.

Well, he does have a death wish. He's an awful spoiled person. But the point of the roast was that it was really funny. And it was totally funny.

All that Demi is addicted to drugs and now dating younger men. Yeah, no, there was a lot of him being replaced by the guy who got fired from three and a half, two and a half men. Talking about... Can I have some ketchup?

Yeah. No. I... It was really cheap.

Thank you. I didn't say that. Thank you. Oh yeah, no, you're right, Charlie Sheen.

This is actually a picture of... What is that? That was shot, please. Who were worried about the floor being too long?

Bruce Willis is a worthless piece of shit. And unfortunately, he had children. Except for the heart. Sorry, his daughters are going to do so well.

If somebody who treated them that badly their entire life. Oh wait, and his co-stars? And people that raised him doing whatever he wants to do? Okay, I will say at the very end of the roast, a little upset in that he does not...

He says diehard is not a Christmas movie. It is, and you should suck a dick. Him, but there was an audible gasp while I was watching it. Like a positive one.

But it is a Christmas movie. It totally is. Thanks, El Rooker. But anyway, speaking of movies that could or could not be a Christmas movie, the Deadpool 2 Super-Dupor edition.

Haven't watched it yet. I will say... We did see a really awesome window though. You did see an awesome window.

He walked out front and then walked to the building next door, looking in the middle window of the second floor. It's Deadpool holding what I think is a cat, but it might be a ferret. Yeah, you're not sure are you? Not anymore.

Like, no, like it's a big window. Or it could be a carrot. No, it's not a carrot. But like I said...

I made him laugh. He doesn't fucking make sense. But like I said, we walk past that window and I'm like, oh my god, that's the best thing I've seen in days. I will say the extra 15 to 20 minutes, I think it was like that total 17 minutes.

I'm just kind of... That's just, you know, even an out average it out. I will say it made a better movie than what I saw theatrically. Yeah, because you and I were okay with it, but we weren't happy with it.

But still doesn't make it a great movie. Well unfortunately, because of Ryan Reynolds, they didn't have the same director. And I think... Is it Ryan Reynolds fault?

No, it's not Ryan Reynolds fault. It's the producers not caving in. No, it's... So, I think...

I think he was also a producer. Do you know what I mean though? I think Tim Miller said he didn't want to do a straight up kind of copy of it, or he won't be... No, the fact that it would be like a weirdly fucking...

We're in love. It's a romantic comedy with romantic traits. Well, just like the very beginning when they have that whole... She takes out her IUD and she has that line about like, kids make us better than we thought we were.

What do I thought was fucking stupid? Yeah, it's a dumb, horrible piece of dialogue. Especially considering the actress and how kids have made her life worse, and she's kind of a whore. Yes, and I think Ryan Reynolds had a second kid or something.

He's got two girls with Blake Lively. Yeah. Which, you know what, he seems like a really good father, but he's not very smart. Well, no one ever said he was a road scholar.

But all right. Like I said, she's got his wife and his two girls. They seem happy. They seem to be raising her girls very well.

But, I bet she married Blake Lively. What were you thinking? I can't speak to that. And now we get into the case-by-case basis.

So, Deb says skip or... Come on. Not skip. Continue.

Um, a cloak and dagger. I haven't watched it yet. So, probably skip because I can't have any opinions on it. I was waiting till the end of the series.

I actually thought it seemed super racist and super lazy. I completely disagree with everything you just said. They made the character who was more powerful, white and female. How is she more powerful than cloak?

There's always a literally even. She got a lot more easy times. And when things came together, she in general came out on top. Okay, we need to watch more of that show.

I'm going to. I continue. Because Black characters, well, with all the money and privilege, which is the point I brought up when I first started watching it, in that they just opposed kind of the Black character being like the urban gangster character. And it's like, nope, though, like what girl is.

And the Black characters got all the advantages. Like, no. No, it's every time something happened, she was on top. Like, her advantage was the one that was easier.

What are the advantages you see her having, though? Any weird things happen, she was the one who could explain her way out of it. Okay, do you think it happens in the whole series? I'll agree with you right now.

She can't explain how she stabbed a dude who was trying to raid her with a light dagger. Like, she's- No, she can't. I'm white. It was a light dagger.

He tried to fucking raid me. Because that works in court. There was a light dagger. She's a white girl.

What do you think was going to happen? No, you need to finish watching it. I agree. We should skip this one.

But I will say that they have released- It was stupid. They have released the poster for second season, which does- Seem lazy. One skin- Okay, can we get to the lazy thing? Explain that you said.

They had the easy character that was to get out of things. And the character that they set up for good things and made it harder to come out of these problems. I don't think you can say that without watching the whole season. I'll watch the last two episodes and we'll see what happens.

Are you that far through? Yeah. Yeah. Two episodes left.

Still don't like her. You can not like her, but it's not racist or lazy. They need you to hate the white person. That's kind of gordly not racist.

Actually doesn't have to do it. She's white and more handsome in the fact that she's lazy and stupid. I wouldn't say lazy. She has a lot of thought to her.

Not enough. Venture brother season seven. Four opinions. I love that they have mobile payoffs.

Jackson Pollock, where are you? Well, Jackson Pollock is dead. You mean Jackson Public. I don't know.

Joe, but yes. He's out Spider and Paint. Venture Brothers, the new season has been stellar. I believe my exact text to you was New Venture Brothers is the tits.

The way they tie up was ends. You didn't even realize we're loose ends. That's a fantastic thing. I just all of the dock hammers.

I was wondering if you were called their wafer lazy. I was going to say they're awful people. The dock hammers. I think there's a paraleesi writing, honestly, in the adventure brothers.

I'd be amazed that if we were to get up, you would go, what's that lazy? They put a lot of thought into that. No, I'm really sad lazy. I haven't gone there yet, so I can't say it.

But I've got to say it. I think we can both are going to say it. I think we can both agree on it. No, I need to wait till you see the last couple of seasons.

I'm disappointed. I think it's lazy and stupid. I think it's more complacent. Every watch the first time.

It's more and dumb and Lucy is the most lazy character design I've ever fucking seen. Thanks, Nat, Growning. I'm so glad you're a fucking old man. I can't do shit anymore.

Does he have one eye or two? Apparently it's one and I agree with him. Um, lazy. I do agree with you on that.

Um, I think it was... I need you to see the last two episodes so we can talk. Okay. Because the character development pisses me right the fuck off.

Yeah, because there wasn't it. Once the last two episodes, it's worse. The first step for the first season. Um, just throw that other for people.

Like the first season's not over. Does it bother me that her father had zero character development? Yeah, it does. But you know what, father's not over?

Hell fucking dumb. Her stepmother. Like I said, hell fucking dumb. Her stepmother character was.

Yeah, like she was smart and interesting and they basically made her stupid. I... One thing I can't speak to, I haven't watched it. Um, lastly.

Um, okay, how lazy was it? I was running on the movie tag. Dad. Didn't watch it.

Well, I didn't want to see Jeremy Renner. Why? Because of Jeremy Renner. I didn't watch it.

The only reason I didn't watch it is because I know the only reason he wasn't doing that movie is because he made a dumb ass choice of marrying an Eastern European bride when he shouldn't have. And they had a child together and now he has to pay her for that kid. Oh wow. Um...

Yeah, that happens. Well, I'll just say I like Hellblaburris and... Before after. Jake, what's his nuts for his nuts?

Huh? So before after he talked a lot of shit. Ooh. Hannibal.

Both. Both. I support Hellblaburris 100%. I'm totally fine with him talking a lot of shit.

But he also basically went... Well, Bill Cosby is what I mean. Yeah, absolutely. Like I said, he also went...

He was like super old news. Like I said, he also went underground after that. Yeah. He didn't release anything.

He was like... He was like almost every episode of Broad City is in tag with... That was years ago. He did not release an album for two years.

He was in the last like year and a half. How underground did he go? Lazy. Like I said, he...

Not even within context and certainly okay. He wasn't even... No, he wasn't... I liked...

I liked tag. It was fun. Was it worse than theaters? No, I'm glad I didn't.

Was it worse? Lacing in theaters? No. Was it worse than...

Yes, it was. I think it was fun. It was a failure and nobody saw it. I will not look up the numbers, but...

Damn, I think you're just condemning everything I've been saying and I'd be very interested to see what you think of the usual ending on set. So mistakes? I'm in non-stance. Mistakes are made this week.

What do you mean I condemn from your life? I actually didn't do anything interesting this week. I basically had to stay in bed because my ankle's still broken. Which is lazy.

Go ahead. And I got most of the blood out of my coat because of a suggestion from an ex-military friend of mine. But I didn't do anything useful and I didn't go back to the job yet because I can't stand up for more than three hours straight. Well, I got sick.

Which is my mistake for... You know... It's not your mistake. You got sick.

I'm not done yet. It's lazy because you know what, 2018 and I should have already had my bionic cyborg body now. I wish. I know, right?

Doesn't everyone? I have to ask. What cyborg parts would you like? Well, okay.

What's... Like the parts in rec? What the fuck are you talking about? I said cyborg parts, but it sounded like cyborg parts.

Like would you rather have like a cyborg brain with the body or just the cyborg body with the brain? No, no, I'd go full-roading. Would you want the world to be... You know, a little bit tender and kind of gentle or would you just want everything to be cyborg?

Full robo cop. I just said that. I'm at the world, not your body. So we're making the world a cyborg?

What the fuck are you talking about? Well, would you want to be robo cop walking around with trees and parks and everybody being stupid or would you want everything to be a robot? I'd answer that. If you liked this, check out some of our other shows like Mr.
