#264 Kong: Skull Island Review - American Heretics Comedy Tour

from Tales From The Hardside

Winter is back Kong: Skull Island Rules Arrival Legion Hardcore Henry Jeff Sessions thinks weed is slightly less awful than heroin Diet still going well The Pullouts - â??Tennesseeâ?? The American Heretics Comedy Tour rolled through Dayton for a few shows at Wileyâ??s Comedy Joint during the weekend and reached out to Gem City Podcast for a chat. Izzy Rock went â??on locationâ?? to their hotel room for a chat. He was joined by comedians Tom Simmons, and Jay Whitecotton as they discussed the tour, stand up comedy, getting punched on stage, bar shows, and so much more. Tom Simmons is a national headliner highly regarded for his joke writing and ability to find punchlines in subjects most choose to ignore. From the Federal Reserve to Passive Resistance, Tom can dissect any subject, find the funny, and has used this skill to consistently kill audiences all over the country. Self effacing and predominantly liberal, Tom is able to make audiences on both sides of the political spectrum laugh due to his commitment to the craft and insistence on never taking himself too serious. Having avoided â??the moveâ?? to LA or NY, Tom Simmons is a devoted father and husband raising his family in Greensboro, North Carolina. Heâ??s been featured on Comedy Central, BET, Showtime and won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition. Between tours he can be seen on his news and pop culture based web series â??So Then Thereâ??s Thisâ?? and his albums can be found on iTunes, Amazon and Pandora Radio. Jay Whitecotton is the product of a clinically diagnosed schizophrenic family of drug addicted Star Trek nerds, who would rage tweak all night while playing Dungeons and Dragons. Somehow this was not a setback. Based in Austin, Texas he is quietly painting himself in the corner with no other option, but becoming a full time comedian. Heâ??s performed at Funny or Dieâ??s Oddball Fest, Las Vegas Punk Rock and Bowling Festival, Moontower Comedy Fest, and many more. In 2016 his debut album hit #1 on iTunes comedy and he taped for FOXProduced by Izzy Rock - @TheIzzyRock on Social Media Produced by Izzy Rock https://twitter.com/TheIzzyRock https://www.facebook.com/TheIzzyRock https://www.facebook.com/TalesFromTheHardsidePodcast Email and Booking: [email protected] Website:http://www.theizzyrock.com/ Call the voicemail: 937-265-2024 http://gemcitypodcast.com/ iTunes- https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/gem-city-podcast/id646008927?mt=2 Stitcher- http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/eric-ruiz/gem-city-podcast Twitter- https://twitter.com/GemCityPodcast Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/GemCityPodcast YouTube- https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGemCityPodcast
