He has a great job, is in a relationship with Mary Jane Watson and is beloved as Spider-Man by the city of New York. However, all of that crumbles when an alien symbiote latches onto Peter and brings out his dark half in destructive ways. Also, there's a Sandman, a rival photographer, a love triangle with another girl and a vengeful Harry Osbourne gets amnesia. So, that happened.
