We sat down with Davide and Vince Gallagher, co-owners of the two-unit Pizzata Pizzeria in Philadelphia. We talk about Davide’s recognition and his recent pizza competition winning streak at Pizza Expo and in Italy. We talk logistics and equipment, as well as how it is helping the two Pizzata locations thrive, while also planning expansion.He and friend Vinny Gallagher – along with Davide’s brother, Ciro Lubrano – opened Pizzata Pizzeria as a New York-style slice shop in Philly’s Rittenhouse area in late 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
